What to expect?
We have been circling Buenos Aires for years, and we finally found the place for it. A villa in the city with a pool, a garden, a proper asado grill, and eight bedrooms, so the whole crew sleeps under one roof. Expect steak on the fire most weekends, Malbec that costs less than your coffee back home, dinner at 10pm because that is when this city eats, and a crew that makes leaving difficult.
FOOD
Asado on our own grill, empanadas from the corner place we will find in week one, Barrio Chino when nobody wants meat again, closed-door restaurants you cannot Google, and more Italian food than you would expect this far from home.
COMMUNITY
Eight bedrooms and one very long dinner table. Two community managers living in the villa with you, and a group we hand-pick so the vibe lands from day one.
ADVENTURE
Milongas in San Telmo, a Boca or River match if we can get tickets, the Tigre delta, Colonia across the water in Uruguay, and weekends we plan so you do not have to.

More than a room!
Look, we get it. You could rent a studio here for less and eat alone. But that is not what you are getting.
You are getting us. Two community managers living in the same villa, taking care of you 24/7. Something breaks, we fix it. You want to know which parrilla is actually good, where to change money without getting stung, which milonga lets beginners in? Sorted. Hungry after a long day of calls with Europe? Dinner is on the table with a glass of Malbec.
You are getting weekends we have already planned. Day trips, football, wine tastings, asados that start at 4pm and end whenever. You do not lift a finger, you just show up.
You are getting cooking classes, welcome dinners, spontaneous pasta nights, and a group of people hand-picked to make sure the vibe is right.
So yeah, the room is part of it. But the room is honestly the least interesting thing we offer.

Accommodation details
600 m² of villa, all of it ours for the month. Eight bedrooms across two floors, six full bathrooms plus a service one, a garden with a swimming pool and a barbecue area, a games room with a pool table and ping pong, a fire pit for the cooler nights, and a kitchen with two fridges because a house full of nomads eats like a small army. Free parking on site if you rent a car. Two bedrooms sit on the ground floor for anyone with mobility needs.
Coworking & Remote Work
High-speed fibre throughout the villa, and plenty of places to set up on the ground floor: long tables, desks, quiet corners, and a projector for when someone insists on presenting something. Work by the pool if the weather behaves, and in autumn it usually does. The street is residential and quiet during the day, which your calls will thank you for. If you want a proper coworking day out, Palermo is about 20 minutes away and full of them, and we will point you at the good ones.
Experience/ Lifestyle
Buenos Aires runs on its own clock. Dinner at 10, drinks at 1, the club at 3, medialunas on the walk home. You work hard during the day and live properly after hours, with a hand-picked group of nomads who are all in on it. Steak, wine, tango, football, and a pool to come home to.
This is the food capital of South America, and our month lands in autumn, the best window of the year here: mild, mostly dry, and nobody sweating through their shirt at an asado. Argentina takes beef as seriously as Italy takes pasta, and we have a proper grill in the garden and a month to learn how to use it. Add the closed-door restaurants in Palermo living rooms, the empanadas from the place with no sign, and Barrio Chino for the nights nobody wants meat again. Semana Santa falls inside our dates too, so the city shifts gear for a few days, which is exactly when we go and do something outside it.

Worky worky time during the day 💻 (Europe is four to five hours ahead, the US is right next to you, so mornings are yours)
AFTER WORK
Close the laptop, jump in the pool, or head to the kitchen. Groceries are already sorted. Some people go for padel, a run in the park, the gym, or yoga in the garden. Fabio is lighting the asado. This takes four hours. That is the point.
EVENINGS
Meat, Malbec, chopping onions, someone puts on cumbia. Nobody eats before 10. Then either bed or a milonga in San Telmo, and if it is a milonga you are not home before sunrise.
Travel & Logistics
ARRIVAL INFO
Fly into Ezeiza International Airport (EZE) for long-haul, or Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (AEP) if you are coming from elsewhere in South America. We will connect you with trusted drivers straight to the villa. Ezeiza is 45 to 60 minutes out depending on traffic, and Aeroparque is around 20.
TIME ZONE INFO
Buenos Aires is UTC-3, with no daylight saving. Europe is four to five hours ahead and New York is one hour behind, which is great for US teams and manageable for European ones if you like slow mornings.
TRANSFER OPTIONS
A direct transfer arranged through your Casa Basilico community managers. Once you are here, the subte and the buses go everywhere, and Cabify and Uber cost so little you will stop doing the maths after week one.
